today’s spinoff over last weekends AI drama has to do with a supposed leak breakthrough referring to Q . No point going into the fine detailed as it is neither new nor it provides much insight into why it is important, in this case that it might be a path closer to the AGI we talked about on earlier posts as it might intersect two well known techniques giving current AI foresight.
Remember we discussed bout animals and their rights according to their perceived intelligence? not so long ago we thought of animals as organic automatas, robots that where created by nature but since we did not understand them assumed they only operated based on “instinct” or nerve signals. Luckily we where wrong ! we know know most animals posses multiple types of intelligence way beyond self awareness and in some cases (some of the considered smartest ones) like crows (dolphins seem.to ve so violent ) posses the ability of foresight!

I am thrilled that it seems we will get to have the same discussion we had with animals but about AI agents in our near future, hopefully this time we won’t be so hesitant to accept them.
